Come Out and Play was the world's first festival of street games and pervasive games, and continues to run yearly. It seeks to provide a forum for new types of public games and play.
2006
The first Come Out and Play festival ran in New York in from 22 September to 24 September 2006. Games are listed on the festival website.

The second Come Out and Play festival ran in Amsterdam from 28-29 September 2007, as part of PICNIC, a festival of creativity and innovation. Games are listed on the festival website, and included People Watching, Human Snake and Lumenatio.
2008
The third Come Out and Play festival ran in New York from 6-8 June 2008, hosted by the Bluestockings website.
2009
Come Out and Play 2009 was in New York on the weekend of 12-14 June 2009. Games are listed on the festival website.

The fifth Come Out and Play festival is due to be based in Brooklyn at the Lyceum, from the 4th to 6th of June.
