Ben McKenzie is a performer, writer and game designer based in Melbourne, Australia. He primarily designs and runs games with his company Pop Up Playground, for whom he is the Game Mechanic, or head game designer. He intends to write up a few of the more successful ones here. Pop Up Playground also run two games festivals: This is a Door for indoor games, and Fresh Air for outdoor games.
Ben's handle "Guybrush" is a reference to Guybrush Threepwood, protagonist of the Monkey Island series of adventure games, and one of Ben's favourite game characters.
