'Camera Stare' is a variation on the traditional staring contest, played with video cameras.

Preparation

This game only requires two players but works best with an audience of potential players so a 'winner stays on' structure can happen. The set up goes as follows: There are two chairs facing each other which will seat the players. behind each chair is a video camera on a tripod angled to capture the face of the player opposite. The video cameras are linked up to two monitors which sit on a table between the players and the audience. The monitors are visible to the audience only.

The Game

Two players must stare at each other for as long as possible whilst their image is recorded and streamed live in front of an audience of potential players. The players must try not to laugh, the first one to do so loses. The winning player gets to keep the footage. You can play best of three or five rounds depending on your time restrictions.
