What is Ludocity?

Ludocity is a public resource for pervasive games and related activities, where anyone can write up a game, print out someone else's game, find or organise a gaming event, or comment, report or collaborate on any games that they're interested in.

What is a wiki?

A wiki is a web site that anyone can edit.

Ludocity runs on the same software as Wikipedia. Each page has an "Edit" link, which opens up an editable text version of that page, with some buttons for bold, italics, headers and other markup. Users can make any changes they want to the article, and then click "Save Page" to have those changes applied immediately. (There's a permanent history of each page, so we can undo any mistakes.)

How do I edit a page?

Just click the "Edit" link on any page. You'll see a simple text version of that page, which you can edit like any other text window.

To add italics, links, titles and other effects, you can either use the coloured buttons along the top of the edit window, or type the markup directly (see Help:Editing for a list of valid wiki markup).

If you want to play around with editing to get a feel for how it works, feel free to edit the Sandbox article as much as you like.
