Rules?

I've seen the rest of the Playmakers rules, and was wondering what the Shine rules were like. They don't appear to be here. Would someone mind giving me giving an overview on how it differed from the rest, please? --Peads (talk) 2009-06-05 16:03:18

I'll pop the full rules up once I get the chance - the only existent copy is unfortunately on a CD in a great big stack of CDs that I had to move stuff across to when I unexpectedly had to reinstall windows.

The main difference was that there wasn't a list of targets - instead each team had a list of three rituals they had to perform. There would be a poem to recite (one player masked, the rest chanting back), and instruction hidden in the poem about silly things to do.

In theory, the rituals (which had to be performed at specific times) were timed so that it made a semi-coherent nine-stanza post-apocalypse ritual poem when filmed and all played back simultaneously... --Holly (talk) 2009-06-05 19:22:10

Okay... --Peads (talk) 2009-06-05 21:59:17

Yeah, it was kind-of the most... odd of the ones so far. We were carried away with tea and scones when we came up with it, plus the excuse to write sub-Blake post-apocalypse nursery rhyme doggerel is hard to resist. --Holly (talk) 2009-06-05 22:02:23

Peads: In theory I should still have a paper copy of the rules, um, Somewhere Safe.

If they crop up during the massive flat-tidying endeavour that I'll be doing soon (promise!) I'll do a scan of them or something.

Holly: Wow! --genzaichi (talk) 2009-06-06 15:26:31
