Events
From Ludocity
This is a calendar of upcoming pervasive games around the world - both individual games, and larger, organised events. If you're planning to run a game in your area, in whatever context, let us know on the forum and we'll add it to the calendar.
This list is currently maintained off-site by Nikki Pugh, Ben Henley and Kevan Davis, from whatever sources we hear about things, and updated here automatically. It's also available as an RSS feed and an iCal calendar (which you can subscribe to in Google Calendar).

Friday 25th- Hide&Seek Sandpit - London
- Come along to the Southbank Centre from 6:30-10:00 on Friday 25 May, for a free evening of games – new sports, reimagined game shows, competitive commentary, pen-and-paper pursuits, and much more.
There’ll be games to play and games to watch, games with comperes, and secret games hidden in corners. There’ll be scheduled games (book places from 6:30), games where the audience plays a role, and games you can just turn up to. Come along! Tell other people to come along!

June 2012
Friday 15th- Camp Fire - Near London
- A whole weekend of games somewhere out of London, 15-17 June. The idea is to make the games more social, to avoid the rush for the last tube that affects night games, and to spend more time playing and less travelling!
The rough plan is that we'll find somewhere with fields, woods, and somewhere to stay, head out there Friday night, spend the weekend doing a big mix of running games, less strenuous games, and just sitting around, then roll back to London sometime on Sunday afternoon.
Fire Hazard exists to Make Games Not Spreadsheets, so this'll be a pretty informal, DIY event! We're aiming to break even, so it will cost in the region of £25-50, not including travel. We don't have an exact location yet but it'll almost certainly be within an hour of London, possibly at a scout campsite. Once you're in you'll get a link to help plan this out and make it happen, and when the venue's confirmed we'll send out payment details.

Friday 13th- Come Out and Play: New York - New York
- This year Come Out & Play will feature two main events, each with their own distintive games and flavor. On Friday July 13 Come Out & Play After Dark turns Seaport and the surrounding streets into a twilight playground. Then on July 14 Come Out & Play Field Day returns to Governors Island for another day of wild new field games.
August 2012
Friday 10th- You Are GO! - Berlin
- The Festival will take place on August 10-12 2012, this time at Computer Games Museum Berlin, amidst the utopian architecture of Karl-Marx-Allee. Deadline for submissions: June 1.
This year’s motto is: Run It Yourself (RIY). How can we use our city as a gaming platform on our own? How can players use Creative Commons licensed Street Games and make them work in Berlin? Where can we find and how can we make the equipment for Street Games? How can we document our Games, so that others can play and build on them independently?
